American Legion National Commander delivers D-Day address in Normandy
American Legion National Commander Dan K. Wiley addressed a crowd gathered at the Statues of Liberation monument in Ste. Mere-Eglise, France, during a D-Day ceremony. During the address, he honored the legacy of the organization's founder, Theodore Roosevelt Jr., and acknowledged the historical ties between America's largest veterans service organization and the Normandy community.
