New York American Legion expands 'Flags for Freedom' program
American Legion Post 1082 in East Meadow, N.Y. helped to bring the Operation Democracy "Flags for Freedom" program to local high schools. Expanding the program the originated in nearby Locust Valley, members of The American Legion joined forces with Operation Democracy to deliver folded flags to all graduating seniors during a patriotic ceremony that highlights the true meaning of Old Glory. @AmericanLegionDeptofNewYork
