Saturday, March 18, 2023, is our post's annual Birthday Ball. This year is extra special for us as our post celebrates its 100th birthday (March 29, 1923). Our celebration starts with a past commanders' luncheon and the celebration then moves into an evening of celebration, awards and dancing. We have a no-host cocktail hour, a tri-tip dinner, our annual awards presentations and a live country band. We expect the following department/state representatives in attendance: Department Commander, Department Adjutant, Area B Vice Commander, State Auxiliary President, SAL Detachment Commander and American Legion Riders State Director, along with the Department National Executive Committeeman and Alternate National Executive Committeeman. You may ask why - we sit 180 miles away from Phoenix and 240 miles from Tucson, so our state leader must put in some miles to attend. The District 1 quarterly meeting is the next day, also held at Post 19. For God and Country.
