Cub Scout Troop 219 Food Drive

May 17, 2020

Cub Scout Troop 219 from Saint Katherine of Sienna Roman Catholic Church located in Wayne Pa held a Food Drive

to benefit the Veterans in the area.  They showed drive and desire to fulfill their project even with a Stay at Home Order

due to the Coronavirus.  The use of Social Media and a few other technology tools made their drive a total success.

The food items were dropped off at Bateman Gallagher Post 668 where it will..

Care Packages

A request was made to Bateman Gallagher Post 668 located in Wayne PA from First Sgt Johnnie Walker Jr to assemble

a number of care packages for a deployed group of Service Members.

The care packages needed to contain personal health items, hand wipes, candy, cookies, crackers, health bars and a book.

Our members went out and collected enough items to fill 13 care packages.  The 14th package contained

an American Flag with a request to fly it over..
