Cub Scout Troop 219 from Saint Katherine of Sienna Roman Catholic Church located in Wayne Pa held a Food Drive
to benefit the Veterans in the area. They showed drive and desire to fulfill their project even with a Stay at Home Order
due to the Coronavirus. The use of Social Media and a few other technology tools made their drive a total success.
The food items were dropped off at Bateman Gallagher Post 668 where it will be boxed up and dellivered to
TheVeteransGroup in Philadelphia. This location houses 40 Veterans in transition and will provide them with canned
foods to prepare a number of meals in house which is a huge financial help.
