Georgia competitors win 2025 American Legion Air Rifle Championship
Precision shooter Katlyn Sullivan of Statesboro, Ga. and sporter shooter Bethany Shirley, of Walton County, Ga., were crowned American Legion Junior 3-Position Air Rifle National champions in their respective classes on Saturday, July 26 at Hillsdale College. ⁠ ⁠ Both athletes received a $5,000 scholarship provided by The American Legion and Sons of The American Legion, a Challenger rifle from Crossman and a trip to The American Legion’s 106th national convention in Tampa, Fla., in August to be honored alongside other American Legion youth champions. ⁠
