American Legion Past National Commander at 'Statues of Liberation' dedication ceremony in Normandy
American Legion Past National Commander Daniel Seehafer spoke to crowds gathered in Normandy, France for the “Statues of Liberation” dedication ceremonies in the town of Ste. Mere-Eglise.⁠ ⁠ Active-duty military personnel from multiple nations, three-star generals, high school students, educators, elected officials and others gathered and listened to lessons of bravery, accountability and leadership demonstrated by Generals Dwight D.
