Past National Commander Jimmie Foster reflects on the many caps he's worn, those who mentored him and the connections he's made during his journey to becoming National Commander and beyond. Significant moments during his year as national commander included establishment of the TBI/PTSD committee, American Legion advocacy for passage of the VA Caregivers Act and the establishment of Shelby N.C. as the home of The American Legion World Series.
