State CMDR Robert Hensley and State Adjutant Dean Tuttle were present to present the Charter (temporary) for a new post in Henderson County at Parkers Crossroads. The Post was established at the sight where the new Veterans Cemetery will be opened in the fall of 2017, next to a Civil War Battlefield of 1862. The Post has received their permanent Charter in February 2017 at Mid-Winter Conference in Murfreesboro TN by State CMDR Nancy Harper.
