Once again Post 8 hosted it's annual Legislative Reception. We had a huge turnout of the movers and shakers of our state government and Legion reps. One item vets are lobbying for is the creation of a new Veterans Cemetary in the east river area to augment the National Cemetary in Sturgis, SD. Discussions are their early stages but we vets can be a persistent lot. It is our understanding that a 40 acre lot may be donated for the cemetary north of Sioux Falls. The guests were provided an excellent steak dinner to boost their energy levels, The meal was once again prepared by that dynamic culinary team of Ollie Redden and Greg Hall.
