9th Meeting of Post.

The 9th meeting of the Post was held May 2017 at Cruzin Reubenz.  Guest speaker Lt/Col. Gary Dolan, US Army retired, spoke to the Post about his military career and his time with the 75th Infantry (Airborne)during his tour in Vietnam.  They post Officers for 2017/2018 were elected and sworn in by Deputy Sheriff Lt. Monty Craig.  The officers are Commander Jerry Marcus,  Vice Commander Roger, Chaplin Marvin Gallaway, Historian Deirdre Healon,  Sgt. at Arms Elizabeth Leagan,  Service Officer Sam Barber,  Members at Large Richard Steininger and James Reese.  Judge Advocate Joel Mandell reported on the Quilt of Valor presentation at Sun City.  Fifteen WWII veterans received Quilts honoring their service.  Donuts were delivered, from the Post members to the local Sheriff’s sub-station and to the Fire House in appreciation for their service.
