October 23, 1945 was the next election for the officers to serve for the following 1945-46 term. Ferd Grebb became the second Post Commander, and it was in Ferd Grebb’s term that all papers were signed and the down payment made. The building formerly known as the “Dutch Mill” became the Post’s Home, the membership was increased to 74, a Post Carnival brought in over $1800 and the Post Bowling Team won a trophy!
