At the July 29, 1948 meeting, the Post Building Committee reported that the deal on the new building would be closed in a few days. The Post would have to put in heating and plumbing. A clause in the deed stipulated that if the Post moved out of town, the building would be sold back to the Talbot estate. This building is located on Main Street (NY Route 8) in Leonardsville, NY next to the Post Office.
