The 40/8 Boxcar was voted on to be scrapped to provide Metal for fighting World War 11.Prior to it's Destruction it was at all New Jersey State Conventions The Boxcar was then stored on a Farm where construction began to Build Camp Kilmer. The Boxcar was then used as a Aerial Observation Post while Camp Kilmer was being constructed.
The Boxcar was burned in North Brunswick Scrapyard with 40/8 Executives and Executives of US Gov. Scrap iron Board Members present
