The Cornelius Ivy Unit was Chartered November 3,1932
Splendid work was done in Rehabilitation and Child Welfare, including the raising of Funds for the Assistance of War Orphans at the N.Y. Military Academy. A card Party was sponsored by Mrs. Ivins, Child Welfare Chairman to raise funds.
A total of $1,187.07 was expended by the County for Food and Clothing for Veterans Families in need of assistance.
Mrs. Ivins represented the County at the Area B Child Welfare Conference in West Virginia along with Department Chairman Mrs. Ritchie.
The County President for 1933-1935 was Mrs. Helen Howell. The first County President to serve with her Husband as County Commander.
A Christmas Party was held at Menlo Park Soldiers Home. cards were distributed to schools for a survey of Veteran's Children; and magazines, puzzles and games were collected for men in the Hospitals.
