In 1931-1932 the Officers of the County were President Mrs. Gertrude End of Piscataway, First Vice President Mrs. Harry Kramer of Metuchen, A Cup was put up by the County as a permanent trophy awarded each month to the Unit having the Largest percentage of Attendance at the County meeting. The County purchased it's own American Flag .A steel filing cabinet to secure County Records, arrangements being made to keep them permanently at the Metuchen Post Home. A Joint Christmas Party was held at the Legion in Sayreville. Several Units installed supply shelves for Families of needy Veterans. In April 1932 the South River Unit was organized and its Officers installed.
