Depression hit the Country Hard at about the same time Harry Kramer became County Commander.
He was faced with a very serious problem of Unemployment among Veterans of the County.
With the assistance of Legionnaire Lewis D. Compton of Metuchen County Director of Unemployment and Relief, and Service Officer John V. Burke of Perth Amboy, he rendered splendid service in the securing of Employment for many of the County's Veterans.
The first County Ritual Team contest was during the course of the Year.
the annual County Banquet was held at Naval Militia Armory in Perth Amboy.
Two County Conferences on Child Welfare were held.
July 26th a large delegation spent the Day at the Toms River Convalescent Home
