In 1930 the "Cathedral of he AIR" the Legion's "MEMORIAL CHAPEL" to Honor the Nation's Naval Air Service dead was one of the major objectives of the American Legion under County Commander Everett P.Ryno. Middlesex County raised it's full quota.The Commander won aid from Governor Silzer, President Thomas of Rutgers James Neilson of New Brunswick and Gov. Larson.
The County participated in the unveiling of WAR MEMORIAL MONUMENT at New Brunswick and a most successful County Rally at Lawrence Harbor on Aug 13 in which all drum and Bugle Corps of the County participated.
Past County Commander Holger G.Holm was Elected department Vice Commander.at Wildwood.
The co-operation of the American Legion and Auxiliary when it was reported thatr the Auxilary would be banned from Marching in the Convention Parade. Middlesex County immediately Protested to Department executive Committee.
