Activities very high at the Toms River Convalescent Home many Hours and many Donations made by Middlesex County Posts. Hudson County joins in supporting the home brought about largely by the efforts of Middlesex County representatives.
Child Welfare was again stressed and a report by the Child Welfare Officer ,taken from the Minutes, shows that at one time 36 Children in Middlesex County were receiving Legion aid.
Highland Park and Lenape Post received National Citations for taking their Colors to the National Convention in Philadelphia.
The approach of the Paris Convention evoked a great deal of enthusiasm, Joseph F Deegan was made Chairman of special committee to encourage attendance. A dozen Legionnaires and Auxiliaries made the Trip
Daniel E. Grabiel of Milltown was elected Commander oat County Convention Woodbridge NJ Oct 26,1927.
