American Legion National Historian Richard T. Dubay of Michigan announced that the Narrative History Book for 2016 – 2017 for Pony Express Post 359 won First Award in the One-Year Post Narrative National Post History Competition. during the 2017 Fall Meetings in Indianapolis, Indiana. National Historian Dubay read the results in his report to the National Executive Committee on October 12, 2017.
It is the fourth time in the last five years the Post has won the award.
