On Armed Forces Day (May 21) 2016, Pony Express Post 359 recruited members and provided information to veterans as part of the Vet2Vet Fair conducted by the St. Joseph Youth Alliance’s Frontline Families group and held at Parkway Christian Fellowship Church in St. Joseph.

The event had many vendors to help with support, employment help and benefit information for veterans and families.

Post 359 Adjutant Jerome Goolsby, Past American Legion National Vice Commander David Voyles and American Legion Pony Express Auxiliary Unit 359 President Marta Barnes worked a booth providing information on Legion Family membership and on upcoming events in the community. The Post also provided support for lunch that was given to attendees along with other local businesses and civic organizations.
