The students of Savannah Middle School recognized and honored military veterans at their annual Veteran's Day Assembly. Post 287 posted the colors and did a Flag Folding Ceremony. The Middle School Choir sang and then a slide presentation was shown of the military veterans related either to a particular student or facility member. Students then recognized the military veterans of their family who were in attendance. As the assembly concluded, students handed out homemade "thank you" cards to the veterans.
