Eagle Scout project of Joshua Hummer
A fundraiser BBQ lunch was hosted by Boy Scout Troop 60.
The fundraiser was held at Dick Munkres Post 287 on 19 August 2018.
Guests of Honor were: Andrew County Sherriff Deputy Glidden and his K-9 Deputy Rocko.
K-9 Deputy Rocko was the only Deputy of the Andrew County Sherriff's Department that was not outfitted with a protective vest.
Learning this Mr. Joshua Hummer organized this fundraiser to are the needed $2,000 for a bullet/stab proof vest for Rocko.
Funds raised during this event totaled $3,700!
The extra funds, after purchasing the protective vest, will go towards the continued care and training of Rocko.
