American Legion Post 287 of Rantoul, Illinois and American Legion Post 287 of Savannah, Missouri have continued the tradition of being at every National Convention since their chartering in 1920. This year Jack Jones represented Rantoul and Norm Brosi represented Savannah carrying their perspective Post Colors at the parade held within the Minneapolis Convention Center. NOTE: This year we learned of American Legion Post 298 or Marion, Iowa who have also been to every American Legion National Convention Parade since their chartering in 1920. The American Legion is planning on discontinuing the National Convention Parades after next year's parade in Indianapolis. Post 287 of Illinois and Post 287 of Missouri will try to connect with the Iowa Post for a group picture.
