Falldin American Legion Post sponsored their annual athletic dinner May 2 and hosted 200 boys and their parents. Guest speakers included Ken Bartholemew, 14-time national speed skating champion and Olympic champion; Commander Virg Persing; Jim Anderson, Edison coach; Jerry Cady, Vocational coach; Butch Nash, University of Minnesota coach; Mike Perfetti, former Gopher drafted by the Atlanta Falcons; Bob Morgan, Gopher football captain and quarterback; and Fran Van Aucken, Post athletic director.
