The 2016 - 2017 1st place Class A "Best Publication" for newsletter was awarded to Cathy Merritt - Editor for her Ernest F. Oldenburg E- News. The E-News included information and articles for the Legion, Auxiliary, Sons, and the Riders. The E-News was sent out via email on a monthly basis, which also included calenders for meetings, holidays and upcoming events. This is just one of the many awards that are sponsered by Michigan American Legion Press Association (M.A.L.P.A.)
