Fourth annual World War 11 Veteran Recognition dinner was held on Pearl Harbor day, Wednesday, December 7th at the Ernest F. Oldenburg American Legion Post 216 Hall in Milford, MI. tonight event was all put together by Jr. Vice Commander Gary Dykstra. The event was attended by 32 WWII vets along with their guests. Opening ceremony included the Color Guard presenting colors, with the National Anthem being song by. Chaplain Ron McCall said prayer,dinner was served to all our honored WWII veterans and guest with the help from Pack 52 boys. Opening Ceremony was done by Sr. Vice Commander Edward Merritt honoring our WWII Veterans for there time in serve. With the help of the Color Guard Team we handed out Certificate of Appreciation and a veteran medal to all WWII Veterans honoring their serve in WWII. Nights entertainment was the What A Bouts a Trio singing group.Was a great night by all with singing and dancing.
