The installation of officers was held Aug. 3 at Ernest F. Oldenburg American Legion Post 216, in Milford. The ceremony was performed by the 18th District Legion Ritual Team and the Auxiliary Past District Presidents.

The American Legion, Auxiliary and SAL of the Milford area are always at the ready when a call comes in asking for help for a veteran or their family. Post 216 has helped many with aid, in the form of clothing, food or assistance, getting or explaining benefits the veteran may have, welcoming home celebrations, and with Funeral Honors.
