At our June 17, 2014 General Membership meeting the Ernest F. Oldenburg Post 216 gave out the 2014 scholarship awards to two deserving high school graduates from Huron Valley Schools, 1 student from each school,Lakeland High School and Milford High School. These two students presented their essays to the General Membership on what it means to be a America. 1st Vice Commander Norm Tibbs and Education and Scholarship chairmen Skip Davison presented a $1000 scholarship check to each of the young ladies.
