In 2013 Clayton Maxwell a Boy Scout and a SAL member came to General membership meeting and ask if he could build a Gazebo on legion grounds for his eagle scout project, in memory and honor of Past unit/Past Department President Brenda Dees. Membership voted yes. Clayton spearheaded and built the Gazebo
