Annual American Legion Post 216 Fred Kowal Memorial SAL golf outing was held in August, made up of two men or women teams this was a Legion family function. Winners of the 2011 Fred Kowal golf outing was S. Kielian and D. Kielian, and T. Kielian and J. Kielian. Funds from Fundraiser went to the Child Welfare Fund.$3,503.00 was raised for the Child Welfare fund in 2011.
