Annual American Legion Post 216 Fred Kowal Memorial SAL golf outing was held in August, made up of two men or women teams this was a Legion family function. Winners of the 2005 Fred Kowal golf outing was B. Clancy and W. Reipen, and J. Sutton and R. Alefs. Funds from Fundraiser went to the Child Welfare Fund.
