Installation of officers.
A joint installation of Unit and Post officers was held Tuesday evening, August 18th, at the Legion Hall.
Mrs. Ava Sisson of Clawson, intermediate Past Pres. of the 18th District was the installing officer and assisting on the Installation team were Past Presidents of the 18th District with Mrs Agnes Larson acting as Installing Sgt-at-arms.
Legion Post Officers were installed by the Ritual Team of Oakland County Voiture 811 of the 40 and 8.
Auxiliary officers for 1964-1965 are;
President: Mrs Wilma Wagner, Vice-Pres: Mrs Mildred Handziak, Secretary: Mrs Eileen Ault, Treasurer: Mrs Lucile Gries, Chaplain: Mrs Alma Dicks, Historian: Mrs Lois Belt, Sgt-at-arms: Mrs Constance Engle, Ex-Board: Mrs Irene Swann, Vivian Brennan, and Mrs Ferne Girard.
The Installing Team wre presented with gifts of note paper by the Unit, and each new officer received a corsage from the Auxiliary. A delicious lunch was served after the joint Installation. A nice turn out was present.
