
At the November 1937 meeting, the Post voted an appropriation of $60 for Traffic and Safety work and the committee put on an intense safety campaign, purchased and presented raincoats and storm hats to all the boys of the Milford Schools Safety Patrol and erected four American Legion Welcome Safety signs on all the main road approaches to the village, safety speakers attended the schools and posters were displayed throughout the area.
