The Ray Stone Past Commanders Club was formed on April 6, 1953 with P.C. Harlow Shepard as Cmdr., P.C Ken Beaman, Sec., and P.C. Leslie Clark as Treasurer. The first banquet was held at Legion Quarters, 2 School St., on April 20th, 1954, headlined by Tom Dowd of the Boston Red Sox as guest speaker. A Ham Dinner was provided by the Auxiliary of the Post for a ticket cost of $ 2.00.
