This year, Post 438 had the opportunity to sponsor two young men from Kipp Renaissance High School located in the City of New Orleans.
The cost was donated by two local small businesses.
Louisiana Boys State was founded in 1940. Boys State maintains a reputation as the premiere leadership development program for young men in the state. It cultivates personal growth, civic involvement, and practical governance knowledge in its paerticipants to help builid strong, more well-informed and influential leaders for our communities, our state, and our country.
Boys State was held June 25 - 30, 2018 at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana.
