The merger of Post 324 and Post 533 was celebrated with a dinner at the J. Harvey's restaurant in Moultrie, Ga on May 22nd. The local newspaper covered the event with an extensive article noting this historical merger of the predominately black Post 533 with the predominantly white post 324 with a headline quote "We all bleed red!"
