His cherished soul and vibrant spirit departed on June 11, 2024, surrounded by the solace and tenacious love of his family and loyal friends. A proud Vietnam veteran, Snipe courageously served in the United States Marine Corps from 1971 to 1973. His dedication and bravery during his service reflected his unwavering commitment to his country.

Following his honorable military service, Snipe embarked on an illustrious career in the Nuclear Power Industry. For over 35 years, he dedicated himself to Crane Nuclear, where his invaluable contributions and expertise were widely respected. Snipe's career was a voyage that took him to all 50 States including Canada and Mexico, where he forged deep bonds and friendships. These relationships blossomed into a cherished network of colleagues who became his beloved extended family.

In his roles as a father, grandfather, sibling, and friend, Snipe's love and support knew no limits. His love for his two sons "the boys," Kody and Kevin, and his daughter-in-law Jeriann, was immeasurable. Snipe's presence brought warmth and light to his grandchildren, whom he adored: Samantha, Jake and Van, who equally adored their "Pop Pops." Additionally, his cherished furry grandchildren, Tucker and Frida, enriched his life with extra layers of companionship and joy. He is survived by his siblings David, Gary, Deborah, and Johnny; Snipe's family was his anchor. He maintained a special connection with his ex-wife and friend, Katherine Blake, embodying a spirit of camaraderie and mutual support throughout his life's journey. Snipe's roots and love ran deep. Known for his sense of humor, deep loving heart and his grumpiness, Snipe truly enjoyed living life to the fullest. He embraced the mantra, "Work hard, play hard." Snipe touched the lives of many with his kindness, wisdom and generosity. He would give you the shirt off his back. He fostered profound connections and left a legacy of love and impact that continues to resonate with all who knew him. For those who knew Snipe, they understood his love and passion for Harley Davidson Motorcycles, good company, good food, good tunes, the sunshine and the beach. He was a true New York Yankees fan, adored his Tiki Bar by the pool, and always kept his garage door open to all. While Snipe may have departed from this world, his memory and legacy will endure in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Snipe's passing marks a profound loss to many. His vibrant spirit, unwavering dedication, and profound impact on the lives of those around him will forever be remembered and cherished. As we mourn the loss of Snipe, let us also celebrate the life he lived and the impact he made on the world around him. May his memory serve as a source of inspiration and comfort to all who were fortunate enough to know him.
