The American Legion Department of Connecticut 2015 High School Oratorical Contest was held at Goodwin College on Saturday, March 7, 2015. This year's Department Oratorical Contest Winner is Christina Mitchel, a junior at Valley Regional High School. Ms. Mitchel previously won the Post 61 Oratorical Contest on January 30, 2015, and won the District 7 Oratorical Competition on February 14, 2015, in Westbrook, Connecticut. Christina will travel to Indianapolis, Indiana to participate in The American Legion National Oratorical Competition to be held on April 10-12, 2015.
