Post 2 took part in the annual Bristol Mum Parade. Over the years members of the Post have been part of organizing the Parade and events. This year was no different. The unit's Honor Guard marched with it's Colors near the start of the Parade leading off the local Civil Air patrol Squadron. local American Legion Riders followed the Civil Air Patrol. While a small float from the Post with Post 2 members riding on it followed in the next section of the parade. The Bristol Home Town Hero which Post 2 collected the names, while the Korean Veterans did the choosing was part of the event. Before the Parade started the Post held a special breakfast for the Home Town Hero. The American Legion Riders rode directly in front of the Car carrying the Home Town Hero.
