The motion was made and passed to name Post 2 "Seicheprey" after all the first Bristol men who died in the battle of Seicheprey. This was decided after suggestions of all the members writing the names of all the Bristol Service men who were killed in action on a slip of paper and then pull the first two names and name the Post as such. This motion was not accepted by the membership and the motion as such was withdrawn. Another motion was made and passed to have a committee of two appointed by the Commander to research the names of all the Bristol Men who were killed in action overseas, and decide as near as they could as to who were the first two to fall and name the Post in their honor.Committee was made of appointees Walter Wade and Carl Chase. During further remarks and discussion, it was decided to use the name Seicheprey instead and honor all those who first fell at the first battle. This was approved and "Seicheprey" became the namesake of Post 2. Information entered here taken from the first Post 2 Minutes.
