Sandy struck Connecticut on Oct. 29, causing about $360 million in damage, knocking out power for days and killing four people in the state. In Shelton we were lucky. There was no loss of life, but many buildings were damaged and power was out to many parts of town for over a week. Post 16 suffered severe damage to the our roof and water damage to our post home. The post bounced back thanks to the hard work of contractors and volunteers. Attached are photos of the post hall after restoration. Just like new thanks to our members.
