On March 24, 1921 a permanent charter was issued to Post 61 (adding Clarence Jacobson) in the name of "Ibell - Jacobson" by National Headquarters to replace permanent charter dated November 6, 1919 due to change of name formally requested by Post and approved by Department.
The new name was Ibell - Jacobson Post No. 61, Deep River, Connecticut.
