The first regular meeting of Richard W. Ibell, Post 61, was called to order by Harry B.L. Marvin on December 11, 1919. The minutes of that historic meeting follow:

The first regular meeting of Richard W. Ibell Post #61 was called to order by Harry B. Marvin.

The following officers were elected for the year 1920:

Harry B. Marvin, Commander
Henry Troegen, Vice Commander
Abram Wimorsky, Treasurer,
S. Dickson Allen, Adjutant
Rev. Harold S. Winship, Chaplin

Voted to have six members on the executive committee and the commander of the Post to be chairman of the committee.

Voted to send a letter of appreciation to Mrs.Woodford , Mr. Ibell's aunt for the very kind offer of a framed picture of Richard W. Ibell.

Voted to send a letter of appreciation to Mrs. Ella Edmonds for the gift of fifty dollars to the Post.

Voted to have a contest, ending Dec. 31, for new members. Marvin and Ziegra were elected captains of the two teams.
