Started in the 1950's, The American Legion Post 99 conducts turkey shoots from October through the following April each year. Here are some pictures from the 1950's and from 2001 and 2004. This was and still is a fund raiser for Post 99 and SAL Squadron 99. The first pictures are from the original shooting range which was 10 individual shooting positions. The latter ones are from 2001 and 2004. Max Harris, Life Member Post 99 ran the 2001 shoot, Larry Witt, Life member Post 99 is the shooter in the picture and Jimmy Nolte was the target judge.
