Rebuilding of Baldwin County Post 99 4th Home begins. The foundation for the new building has been designed, poured, and construction is ready to begin. The actual building will be made with steel girders, trusses, and will commence in November. The actual completion date is expected to be early 1993. Weather may be a factor until the steel girders and trusses are enclosed with steel siding and roofing, but that is figured into the contract. Hopes are that the post will be reopened by the end of February 1993. Pictures were obtained from the Henry A. Hand estate. Henry A. Hand was Post Commander of Post 99 in 1993.
