On land acquired in 1949, located on Highway 59 South, which was still a two (2) lane road and just south of the Foley City limits, the third (3rd) Post 99 home was built adjacent to the proposed street right of way.
It has taken almost 2 and 1/2 years to complete the construction of Baldwin County Post 99's third (3rd) home. Not all the details are available to detail the fund raising, efforts of the post members, or all the prayers and hard work, but the building was completed in April 1952. Many changes would take place over the following 40 years, but this home too would become history in July 1992 following a fire which razed it to the ground, destroying the post records and much of the events that went on at Post 99 during this 40 plus year period.
