Ever since the 9/11 tragedy we at Post 71 have a boat trip around Pewaukee Lake and lay a wreath and have a ceremony on the lake in remembrance of the event. It is a time for members to get together to remember and to enjoy a cruise around our lake. For about three hours we explore the changes in the lake and homes plus the relaxing of the cruise and the get together. This is one of the many events the members look forward to each year with about 50 members riding in the boats. Members of the local yacht club provide the pontoon boats and we never have a problem having enough pontoons.
