Mr. Morgan stood 6 feet 6 inches. He grew up on a farm in Putnam Co. WV. Graduated high school in Winfield, WV and found himself in the U. S. Army. He went to Camp Hale Co to train with the Ski Troops, and with the war emphasis shifting to the Pacific, found himself Island hopping in the Pacific. He came home and in 1947 enlisted in the WV Air National Guard. He became a Warrant Officer over the Motor Pool and retired in 1977 and was the last Warrant Officer to serve in the USAF or Reserve Air Forces. He was a member of Post # 187 and was a strong advocate of God and Country. He died in November 2007 at the age of 83.
