The Post in partnership with Woodlawn Cemetery will not be holding the Memorial Day Service on Monday afternoon, 25 May 2020.
However, the Post will not fail to honor those veterans interned at Woodlawn and Forest Cemeteries. Instead of a formal service on Memorial day afternoon, the Post will be placing flags on each of the veterans graves that weekend.
If you like to participate, please meet at the Woodlawn Cemetery parking lot at 9:00 am on Saturday, 23 May 2020 to place the flags.
We will meet again at Woodlawn Ceremony to recover the flags on Tuesday, 26 May 2020 at 10:00 am.
The Woodlawn Cemetery address is 5930 Mullen Rd SE, Lacey, WA 98503, close to Timberline High School.
We will be practicing good social distancing at both activities.
